After showing up late.
Scammers. Will try to hold your stuff for ransom before unloading, regardless of agreement. Will try to bill for 6 hours when only 2 were used, and will claim to require payment before unloading. Will also try to add in absolutely insane charges after the fact, like shrinkwrap, and stairs 'fees' that were never quoted.
Speaking of shrink wrap, will try to waste all of their time shrinkwrapping mattresses, box springs, etc. Will also spend extra time moving all your stuff in their rented uhaul truck over and over again for no reason.
Also will try to bill you for their lunch break, "travel time", and "c'mon man, we have to get to our next job".
It was great fun arguing and yelling at the management however. Big men over the phone but clearly too inept and impotent to actually work for a living.
Reply from VHaul Movers
Sorry Nathan,
We are very sorry for the incident that happened on the day of the move, we believe that our movers did not do anything wrong and we believe that the whole reason for this is the miscommunication of the people who booked your move. Although this record affected our business, I think the lesson we learned from it was huge.
Thank you for your comment.
